The Cambria County Building Code Enforcement Agency was established to administer and enforce the provisions of the Uniform Construction Code Act.
The Uniform Construction provides uniform standards for builders and design professionals and greater protection for building owners, occupants and the general public.
The UCC applies to the construction, alteration, repair, movement, equipment, removal, demolition, location, maintenance, occupancy or change of occupancy of every building or structure which occurs on or after April 9, 2004, and all existing structures that are not legally occupied.
