Information & Assistance

Cambria County Area Agency on Aging Information and Assistance services are intended to be a comprehensive one-stop service designed to inform the public of the benefits and services available to senior citizens in Cambria County and throughout  Pennsylvania, as well as nationally.

National Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) provide a wide variety of non-medical social services and support that make it possible for older adults to remain in their homes and community by providing services that meet their needs. In addition, AAA Care Managers offer guidance in selecting alternative solutions to problems, link people to other community services, and provide up-to-date information on issues, programs and benefits affecting older persons.

AAA Care Managers receive referrals for aging services and may pre-screen by obtaining basic information over the telephone, through mail, fax or email concerning a person in need of services. Use the Referral Form to connect a resident of Cambria County age 60 or over with our programs and services. Complete the form and fax to 814-539-9656 or email to thowarth@co.cambria.pa.us.

Remember that it is very important that our consumers and care givers are well informed as this fosters self determination in their choices of services and care.

Information and Referral Services are Available at the Area Agency on Aging

Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
