Mission of the Coroner's Office
The Cambria County Coroner's Office investigates all sudden and violent deaths in Cambria County. It is the responsibility of the Coroner to establish the cause and manner of death; to treat the deceased with the utmost dignity; to keep the families informed of the circumstances surrounding the death of their family member; and to work closely with law enforcement to investigate cases where violent acts have occurred. This service will be completed with the highest level of integrity, efficiency and accuracy.
