Mission of the Information Systems Department

The Information Systems Department is dedicated to the objective of providing expert service and support to the County's Department Heads and Elected Officials for the County's ever-growing computer related needs and requirements. Our top priority is to allow County employees to do their jobs more productively and efficiently as they serve the tax paying public. We continue to explore and implement new technology meet the increasing need for more efficient and productive solutions.

Responsibilities of the Information Systems Department

Analyze needs of county departments.
Develop plans and policies to achieve specific needs of county government
Make recommendations on hardware and software purchases
Organize acquisition and adaptation of new hardware and software
Maintain security of all technical equipment
Maintain backups of county servers
Provide assistance to county employees to help perform their job duties
