DIRECTIONS TO THE UPPER YODER TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 302 ELIM STREET, JOHNSTOWN,

CAMBRIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

FROM THE NORTH

Traveling South on Route 219.  Get off on the Route 56 East exit.  Travel to the next traffic signal intersection.  Make a right turn onto Eisenhower Blvd. (there is a Sheetz Store at this corner)  Continue on Eisenhower Blvd until it ends at Route 403.  Make a left on Route 403 to the next traffic signal.  Bear to your right up the hill to the next road – Franklin Street.  Make a sharp right onto Franklin Street to the next traffic signal – continuing uphill.  This intersection is Franklin Street and Goucher Street.  Make a sharp left onto Goucher Street continuing to travel uphill.  Continue until the next traffic signal at the intersection of Goucher Street and Harshberger Road.  Make a right onto Harshberger Road.  Approximately halfway down the hill the Municipal Building is located on your right.  There is a “Upper Yoder Township Police Dept.” sign in the front yard.

FROM THE WEST

Traveling from Route 22 East.  Route 56 East will travel through Johnstown until you reach Route 271 South.  Continue onto Route 271.  As you travel  uphill (commonly known as Easy Grade) Barnett Street is on your left.  Turn left onto Barnett Street downhill to Southmont Blvd.  Turn left onto Southmont Boulevard and travel approx. 60 yards to Hershberger Road on your right.  Turn right onto Hershberger Road (steep hill) and travel uphill.  The Township Municipal Building is located on your left almost to the top of the hill.  The front yard has an “Upper Yoder Township Police Dept” sign in the front yard.

FROM THE EAST.

You will be traveling on 56West.  After you pass Windber/Central City and travel uphill you will be entering a shopping center district.  Continue on 56 West until just before Route 219.  There will be a Sheetz store located at the traffic signal intersection of Route 56 and Eisenhower Blvd.  Turn left onto Eisenhower Blvd and follow the directions from this point from traveling from the north to the Municipal Building.

FROM THE SOUTH

Traveling on Route 271 North over Ligioner Mountain.  Continue on Route 271 until the second traffic signal intersection at Goucher Street and Menoher Blvd.  Make a right onto Goucher Street.  Continue on Goucher Street until the next traffic signal intersection at Goucher Street and Harshberger Road.  Make a left onto Harshberger Road.  Approximately halfway down the hill the Upper Yoder Township Municipal Building will be located on your right.  There is an “Upper Yoder Township Police Department” sign in the front yard.
